On entering the house, the living area has plenty of shiny, glossy finishes such as the black duco painted Centre table, pearl white sofas finished in velvet fabric, silver & blue sequenced cushions, white duco painted console, zigzag black & white carpet & grey vitrified flooring.
A beam of warmth into this otherwise hi gloss finishes have been infused by cleverly articulating a wooden ceiling.
Certain accent pieces were chosen to add color, glamour to the overall neutral space.
Adjacent to the living - dining area lies an open to sky terrace where a multitude of planters are hung on one wall with one wall in light creating a beautiful pattern when lit- turning it into a feature wall.
The wall behind the dinning is a camouflaged PVC panel which has been PU coated emanating the two doors. The balcony adjoining the dinning showcases the wall light which form an articulated pattern when lit.
The master bedroom has an off white suede velvet upholstered headboard from Decor juxtaposed against a beam finished, teak veneer paneled clad wall. The pendant lamps blend alongside a concave artwork completely handmade in wood with an abstract design.
Soft furnishings have been sourced out from @masparhomefashion @ddecordiaries @westsidestores exuding a luxurious touch to the master bedroom.
The egg white laminate & diamond shaped wardrobe blends in a nicely with the soothing ambience.
The client did not want a conventional children’s bedroom with cartoon characters or typical blue/ pink shade but rather something different.
So we came up with the idea of getting the background wall behind the bed hand painted in an abstract pattern with black & white as the base colour & highlighted in gold.
The side tables are finished in mushroom laminate and perfectly align with the mattress height.
The @ddecordiaries royal blue velvet fabric headboard acts as a sharp contrast against the hand painted wall, lending a unique touch to the children’s bedroom.
As one steps into the lift lobby, the gold toned main door exudes a striking appeal.
We specially got the wooden sheets for the main door custom designed in Surat & then assembled it on site.
The wooden sheets have been polished in melamine finish & highlighted with an indirect cove light above.
Subtle colour scheme wraps the 1,450 sqft residence with pops of colour emanating from artwork, accessories & furniture.
Coming to the monochrome palette of black, white & grey kitchen, plenty of in- built storage allows for an ample space, so vital an ingredient while entertaining guests at home.
The black back - painted dado breaks the monotony of the conventional tiling pattern.
The under counters are done in white pvc laminate whilst the topmost layer of overhead cabinets are finished in grey pvc laminate.
Interestingly, all the handles are concealed in the drawers & shutters - similar to the style followed throughout the house.
